Phenomenex receives "Conscious Capitalism Award"

Phenomenex was the recipient of the Los Angeles Venture Association's (LAVA) "Conscious Capitalism Award" at a ceremony held on 22 September 2005. The award also went to Toyota.

Fasha Mahjoor, CEO and founder of Phenomenex said that the award reflected the changing values of companies and the reflection of people whose duties go far beyond that of running a business and making a profit. He stressed the company's commitment to expand its involvement in activities that improve the health, welfare and education of those in need around the world, saying, "We strive not only to excel with the constant introduction of advanced, new products and technologies, but also to engage the gifts of our employees, to benefit humanity."

Philanthropy and community service is strongly encouraged by the company and has been practised at all levels since its start in 1982.
